-Dress pants - currently I have a light khaki colored pants and black pants. It would be nice to have dark khaki or gray. Of course it doesn't hurt to have duplicate colors since I wear these pants daily.
-Button-up shirts - Pretty much can't go wrong here. 2xl b&t, I think neck size 18.5-19.5.
-Dress shoes - Black and brown. size 12 x-wide.

I only want windows 8 to prepare for when someone buys me the Taichi ultrabook. Otherwise to answer your question, no, its not much of an improvement. It adds a start screen, instead of a menu and it has apps. It makes more sense for touch screen devices. Now, if I had the windows 8 taichi ultrabook, then having windows 8 for my desktop would make more sense as it would allow me to sync apps, and up to 7gb of data via skydrive (though I could still use the skydrive website on my windows 7 computer). To be honest, when it comes to windows 8, I am more impressed by the some of the innovation that has occurred because if it, i.e. the taichi ultrabook.
